At first I didn't like that the straw hat was from Gol D. Roger, but the more I yough about that It makes more sense about why is very important to Shanks, great job.

When you think about it, that is one old hat and with all the trouble its gone through there probably isn't an original piece of straw on it.

Imagine how epic the ending would be. Luffy doing the same smile Roger did before he died and then started a new age by saying the exact lines.
But, since I also don't want Luffy, or any of my favorite characters to die, we'll make that as an imaginary scenario by Shanks.
